I don’t like the idea of trapping my horses in a box they can’t escape should shit hit the fan.

If I live on property, I know that should it be required I’d risk my own life to save theirs. I thought this was a universal feeling but recent events have shown me that it isn’t and that fact alone is enough for me to distrust stalls. Barns, by nature, are matchboxes just waiting to ignite.

I like my current set up, a paddock with a 3 1/2 wall run in shed…. shelter if they need it but they aren’t trapped.
